This 925 Sterling Silver Pendant created with Preciosa® crystals features a crystal in a deep, smoky-black Jet Hematite shade, set in sterling silver with 18K gold plating — the contrast between the cool sparkle of the stone and the warm glow of the metal catches the eye at once. The cut of the stone is designed so that its facets catch the light differently throughout the day: in daylight, the pendant glows with a soft graphite shimmer, while in the evening, under lamplight, it flashes with deep glints, as if a spark were hidden inside the stone. You can feel the jeweler's careful craftsmanship — the stone sits securely in its setting, and the pendant itself rests lightly and comfortably on the neck on its chain. The piece comes with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the Preciosa® crystal.
Crystals and plating need gentle care. To keep your jewellery looking like new for longer:
Store it in its branded box or a soft pouch, separate from other jewellery, to prevent scratches.
Keep it away from water: remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming in a pool, exercising or going to bed.
Put on your jewellery after using perfume, hairspray, cream and soap. These products damage the plating and may change the colour of the metal and dull the crystals.
Avoid knocks against hard objects: crystals may scratch or chip.
Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not clean gold or rhodium plating with baking soda or cleaning pastes.
Silver tarnishes over time. This is a natural property of the metal. A silver polishing cloth will help restore its shine.
